The Maze

My vision got blurred, and I staggered side-to-side. The sun was almost setting, and I was still trapped. I sneaked into the maze stealthily, and I was alone. My palms were clammy, and my heartbeat was fast against my ribs. The night time was ticking, and I was sweating so much that I shivered. I tried making my way back to the starting point, and then suddenly, the thought of this morning came back to me.

The Maze Essay

I convinced myself to go into the maze and even asked myself if I had any money left. I shuffled through my pockets, but I could only find nothing. I told myself how ferocious the keepers were on this particular day. I was helpless as a dwarf is to a giant. I went to the back of the same line I was in and convinced myself to get into the maze. I checked around, and there were not many people. Rain was coming, and I waited, until it started pouring. I hid under a bush to prevent myself from getting rained on. The maze’s keeper instructed everyone to get out of the maze, but I whispered to myself to keep ongoing.

I decided to stay under the thicket and checked my surrounding. There was no one around, and it looked like the people had headed for the exit. I was all alone, and the rain had receded. The gate was still open, and I ran as fast as I could before the sun disappeared in between the hills.

I had a constant shiver as my memories faded away. Something flashed like a light bulb in my head as I saw a road right in the middle of the maze. If you had the chance to make it to that point, you could find yourself at the start. There was also a finish station which led to the opposite direction of the same road. It was such a tranquil and silent night, but I was so exhausted. I yawned. I looked up to the sky, but it was pitch dark. I saw my very future flash past me as I got stranded inside the maze. I turned to my right and there was nothing, and the turned to my left but still nothing because I could not see the road.

How to Write Essay About the Maze

I had a heavy heart full of sorrow, and I was sorry for myself and for my bad behavior and for screaming at the keeper of the maze. I said a short prayer and told God that I was honest and also sorry at the same time about everything that I did. Then and there, I started walking and involved myself in a confrontation with the road that I was looking for.

As quickly as I could, I dashed to the exit station. It was still the night time and everywhere was dark. I rushed to the exit as fast as Usain Bolt, and I ran away from my problems. I saw my house right before me and I ran towards it and opened the door with great force. I found my mum having dinner with my dad, and I was so happy to see them together.

I sat down with them, served my plate, and began sharing my story with them. I made sure that I told dad about the maze, the trick, and the road. My dad gave me a scolding for my money because it was meant to be for my lunch, but all in all, I was happy that I was safe at home. I only imagine what it would be if I had spent the night there alone without anybody else to cry for or call out for. I was so happy I was back at home, and it changed the way I saw life. Everything around me was blurry in the beginning, but now I see so clearly.

In the novel, The Maze Runner by James Dashner, Thomas wakes up one day in a large, open room called the Glade (an elevator car) with no recollection of his life before. He finds that he is among a community consisting of 50 boys going by the name Gladers.

They have a leader named Alby, a co-leader by the name Newt and all they’re trying to do is solve the one maze. The entrance to the maze automatically closes every night at the same time, and that protects the Glades from Grievers (half animal, half robots) that will attack you if you get caught outside the maze. Chuck has to work alongside Thomas. They later become best friends. For the next several years, Thomas struggles to survive and find his way out only to learn that he is actually part of an experiment where they are trying to get teenagers from all over the world in order to create a cure for an unknown disease that has spread.

Uniqueness of The Maze Runner Essay

The tale is filled with suspense and adventure as Thomas attempts to find out more about the place, he has landed in. Surprisingly, a feeble teen girl with little of her memory remaining is brought in on his second day. The girl’s name is Teresa, and when she comes out from the coma, Thomas discovers that they can telepathically communicate. They, therefore, had this notion that they must have known each other before it happened to them. One evening, before the walls close and the time is running out, two runners named Minho and Alby did not return because they found a dead body the previous day. Just as the walls were almost closing, some of the runners soon discovered that they were not going to make it out and therefore they broke the first rule. Minho, therefore, decides to split up with Alby and leaves him to die because he got stung. They failed to accept that and tied Alby to the wall.

The maze runner book description

The end in The Glade gets triggered when they wake up one day, and there was no sun, after which they realized that they have existed in an environment of simulation. Thomas decides to solve the maze, and that is to get stung and go through the changing. Thomas realizes that all the teens were being used as experiments. They had been given false names from a scientist. He makes up a plan to get out of that prison, and it works. The bad thing is that half of the people die while trying to escape. When they finally managed to escape from the bondage, they met a rescue party after taking about two hours, where they get to some new location.

The maze runner characters’ description

Thomas is the book’s main protagonist, and he Is about 16 years of age, and his height is 5 ft 9. He also has black and brown hair and a set of blue eyes. Some people describe Thomas as ugly.

Among the many memorable scenes is when Alby, Thomas, and Minho got themselves trapped in the maze in the dark. I expected Minho to act as their leader, but he decides to ditch the group and go about his business on his own. The best part was the climax when they had run for about 3 hours, and Thomas meets with Minho and is surprised that he is alive. It is almost morning when they meet, but they are tired from the running, and from there, Minho comes up with a plan, and that’s when Thomas tricked the grievers into falling off the cliff. That scene was quite memorable and says that characters fought all odds, and you can even feel your adrenaline shooting even if you’re just sitting.

Other individuals who would like to read the same book would be interested in a series of books like Harry Potter. The readers must be lovers of Adventures or mystery. By reading the book, you will get hooked and know the next time that will happen, especially with all the twists within the storyline.

The path of life seems to be more of a maze than it is a straight line. Most of the time, we have taken some wrong turns, lost a lot of time or hit dead ends, or even got to some unexpected places. Sometimes you think you’re going in a good way but yet you head to another. We are constantly in motion, driven by want and need or carried with time.

Life is Like a Maze

The purpose of this symbol is be the journey itself. We exist, move, and live to explore some hidden alcoves or other nooks and crannies. If the journey is the purpose, it doesn’t matter where you end up or begin. You should enjoy the trip because some people believe that there is a hidden meaning or purpose to wherever you are headed. Some think that we are headed towards the center, which could be the Universal or Central core of awareness. As you reach the center, you can see yourself in a maze.

An awareness of the journey will bring you a great amount of wisdom tools and appreciation. Understanding will make you question yourself as to who you are. Without self-awareness, you can’t try defining anything because you can’t see or distinguish yourself from other things or people. There and then, the quest for enlightenment will begin discovering itself and also seek to create identity. The information on such an identity generates from within one’s body and without.

Accept that life is like solving a maze

The search for one’s self is not at all enlightened. Before we get capable of getting aware of ourselves, there is the overall context that is always weighed on us, and it guides us and shapes us. We don’t have any choice regarding whom, when, or where we get to be born. The only thing you are provided with is your identity which is your name and gender. First come your parents, then you meet friends, and from there the rules we tend to choose or the ones you get forced into will influence your life for as long as you are alive. Therefore, the self will begin to wander in the maze through seeking relief, making demands, or exploring. When we are babies, we demand attention, water, and food, then afterward, we develop the ability to disagree and will then be able to become rebels.

Another view on the Life is a Maze essay

The maze goes ahead to force or support the progress in life. When we begin, only a few of us will know whatever we want or where we might want to end up. We spend most of our time floating or fulfilling the expectations of others or exploring the relationship and career paths which are almost unexpected to us or disappointing to some degree. Sometimes you get off the track to bring up children of your own or take care of a sick parent or serve in the military, but it always is a part of the path. Even though you might know what you want to get, we do not always have the resources given to us quickly. The progress is usually cut short through blocks of classicism, racism, low self-esteem, chauvinism, discouragement, Prejudice, or even lack of knowledge. Some barriers can get worked around, and others help knock down other obstacles, but some will remain strong. The maze concept is critical when you want to understand that it is unrealistic to expect One clear trajectory in life, whether you are going forward or reviewing it.

The end goal is that we are usually oriented always to seek belonging and comfort. The self can sometimes get distracted from the authentic impulses or desires with ego or comfort. No location within the maze that can be termed as the end as time will move you out, or death will drag you along.

The purpose of the movement is always to find the true self and the place within the context. The campaign also drives us to develop our own space and our own set of values within the world.
